To Sup & To Study summer Bible study flyer

Summer is here, and you are warmly invited to join us for To Sup & To Study, a relaxed evening of food, fellowship, and time in God's Word hosted by the Kopitzke family.

The idea is simple. "To sup" means to eat supper, and "to study" is the time we set aside to consider something from God's Word together. Each evening brings the church family around the table for a shared meal and a friendly discussion of a single Bible passage.

Come as often, or as little, as you like. Every session is a stand-alone study, so there is no need to attend every week to follow along. Whether you make it to one gathering or all of them, you are welcome.

Summer gathering dates

Sessions are held on select Friday evenings, starting at 6:00 p.m., at the Kopitzke home:

  • Friday, July 17
  • Friday, July 24
  • Friday, August 7
  • Friday, August 14
  • Friday, August 21

A menu and RSVP form will be sent out closer to each date, so keep an eye out for those invitations.

What to expect

Each evening includes a light supper, dessert, and time to dig into a Bible verse together. Past gatherings have featured menus like herbed chicken salad sandwiches, spinach and berry salad, finger appetizers, and refreshments. Most importantly, it is a chance to share a meal and good conversation with members of the church family.

Time: Fridays at 6:00 p.m.

Location: The Kopitzke home, 22348 Goldenrod Dr, Great Mills, MD 20634

Menu: A light supper and dessert are provided

Format: A shared meal followed by discussion of a single Bible passage
